If you are a woman and are interested in motorcycles, either you ride already or are considering entering the world of motorcycling; the AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference is an event you may want to attend. From July 26 through July 28, 2012, Carson City, Nevada will be the host to this event that is entering its sixth year.
Some of the topics that will be covered in the many seminars scheduled throughout the entire weekend include:
- Health Benefits of Riding a Motorcycle – both mental and physical
- How to determine which motorcycle is right for you
- History of Women and Motorcycling
- Eating and Packing Healthy Food Choices on the road
- Training, Education and Safety
- Mechanical Issues, Maintenance and Customizing a Motorcycle
- Helmet Seminars

The actual event will be held at The Gold Dust West; however, they have sold out for this event.
Demo Rides Available Include:
- Kymco USA will be offering Scooter Demo Rides throughout the weekend
- Kawasaki Good Times Street Demo Days will be stopping at the event during their national demo ride program with their products available
Other events throughout the weekend include a Women’s Health Fair, offering cholesterol checks, blood pressure testing, mammograms and more; a Friday night Cookout; and a Saturday Night Celebration Party.
