Yamaha Motor Corp. has gone all out this year for Supercross fans. This year fans will have a chance to enter to win the redesigned 2012 YZ250 at arenas across the country during the AMA Supercross events.
The 2012 Yamaha YZ250F comes in with some changes for 2012. The throttle response has been improved with a larger 39mm carburetor and lighter piston and piston pin. A new air cleaner cage allowing increased airflow also adds to the throttle response improvement. The engine has a variety of changes making the assembly 8% lighter overall than before.
The frame of the YZ250F has also been completed revised to allow for better turning and stability. With quicker and lighter steering, this race bike offers a serious handling advantage against its competition. The seat has even gone through a change with new seat foam material for driver comfort. Whether the color choice is blue or white, both colors come with rich-looking black rims and a gold-colored drive chain.
