American Honda Motorcycle Corporation has decided to unveil the all-new NC700X at the various Progressive International Motorcycle Shows across the country this spring. The newest member of the Honda motorcycle line-up is considered a crossover; this mid-size adventure tourer can be used for commuting during the week and then taken on the road for weekend adventures.
The NC700X will come in two different versions, either with a six-speed manual-clutch transmission or with the Honda Automatic Dual Clutch Transmission with ABS. The Automatic version was designed to appeal to buyers looking for a motorcycle that can be driven as easily as a scooter. The bike comes with a lot of storage and with the option to purchase saddlebags and a top box.
With a 670cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that is fuel-injected, this bike will not only have plenty of torque but will deliver power smoothly for a great ride. A 3.7 gallon gas tank under the seat and great fuel economy is another feature making this an option to consider when looking for a mid range tourer.
But, one of the most appealing aspects of this motorcycle is the starting price point at around $7000.00, making if affordable for both novices and young riders with limited budgets. The NC700X should be hitting showroom floors in June of this year; you will find it in silver with a wide range of accessories available.
