AMA and Yamaha Adventure Riding

The AMA and Yamaha have combined forces for the adventure riding series that is geared towards riders of any brand of adventure-touring motorcycles. The series takes riders on some of the most scenic routes through gravel, asphalt and two lane roads mapped out by locals.

Adventure riding is known to push riders to their limits. The Super Ténéré is Yamaha’s adventure bike designed to cover many miles in comfort and style. Driven both in competitions and in organized rides, the Super Ténéré is a great choice for those who enjoy adventure riding.

The 2011 AMA Yamaha Super Ténéré National Riding Adventure Series rewarded one of its riders as the winner of a brand new 2012 Super Ténéré, courtesy of Yamaha, in their national sweepstakes.

Roy Craft, of Cocoa, Fla., was the lucky winner. Not only is Mr. Craft of Life Member of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), he is also a long-time adventure and dual sport rider. No longer involved in competition, Mr. Craft enjoys riding with friends on the series tour.

As the 2012 season begins, stay tuned for updates on the adventure series this year.
