ABS On BMW Motorcycles Is Now The Norm

Once considered an upgrade, BMW is now making ABS a standard feature on their 2013 motorcycle line-up for all motorcycles sold worldwide.  BMW has fulfilled a condition of the European Union 2016 requirement that all motorcycles sold in Europe come with ABS by the year 2016.

BMW and Motorcycle Rider Safety go hand in hand with the BMW Motorrad’s Safety 360 initiative.  Looking from all the different safety aspects affecting motorcyclists, including rider safety, rider gear and equipment and motorcycle technology; BMW is also developing technology that involves electronic suspension adjustment, adaptive headlights, automatic stability control and dynamic traction control.
