Allstate Motor Company will be giving away $25,000 in grants to five lucky winners who submit the best ideas for Motorcycle safety and awareness. Allstate offers a series of programs under its Rider Protection Project portfolio designed to make the roads a safer place to be for everyone. In conjunction with Good Ride Grants, Rider Risk Map, Once is Never Enough (O.N.E.) and other rider advocacy groups, Allstate is committed to protect riders by giving individuals, dealerships, rider clubs and even local governments the chance to enter the contest.
Entries to the Good Ride Grant contest can be submitted on Allstate Motorcycle’s Facebook page (facebook.com/AllstateMotorcycle) through August 31, 2013, however only the first 1000 entries will be reviewed. The initial six judges include custom motorcycle builder Rick Fairless; two representatives from Allstate, Keith Rutman, Vice President of Allstate’s Powersports unit & Rusty Creed, an Allstate Agency Owner; Indian Motorcycle’s Marketing Director, Rod Krois; Motorcycle USA Editor, Bryan Harley; and Don Becklin, founder of Motorcycle Superstore/Motorcycle USA and Motorsport Aftermarket Group’s retail group president.
Once the judges determine the top 15 finalists in September, the ideas will be featured on the Allstate Motorcycle Facebook page and fans will be able to vote for their favorite ideas. Fan voting will continue until October 31, 2013 whenthe five finalists with the highest overall contest scores will receive a $5000 grant to help put their ideas into action.
