Kawasaki has created their most powerful bike ever built, with the newly designed 2012 ZX-14R. The power comes from the new camshaft and the increase in the stroked crankshaft by 4mm. Also adding to the speed is the reduction of weight in each wheel by three pounds as well as the lighter, stronger pistons. Another great feature is the three-mode adjustable traction control that allows the driver to determine how much wheel slippage is allowed or it can be turned off completely. The driver also has the option of 2 modes of power delivery, one for city streets and the other for the track. The combination of all these great features, and setting the modes at no traction and full horsepower, will set the adrenaline of any rider through the roof.
The comfort of both the driver and the passenger were also addressed in this newest version of the ZX-14R with a new seat cowl and better airflow management. The driver has a new set of gauges easier to read and they include a light that illuminates to signal the driver to upshift, and another to engage the clutch.
