A few months ago, Polaris purchased Indian Motorcycle and recently announced three New Models for 2012. All three of these models come with a 105 cubic inch Power Plus Engine, a 5.5 gallon fuel tank, and two accessory 12V outlets. Each model also has distinct features, sure to please all Indian Motorcycle Customers and perhaps attract a few more.
The Chief Classic: You can find the Chief Classic starting at around $26,499.With a rich leather black solo seat, this model is available in two colors, either red or black with exquisite pin striping. A Full Chrome Package, die-cast color matched console, chrome spoke wheels and classic valance full fenders, make this motorcycle a true classic.
The Dark Horse: Appropriately named with smoke black matte rims and blackwall tires, a black-fringed solo seat, blacked-out engine and chassis, and blacked-out two in one stainless steel exhaust, this is a true beauty. On the tank is a colored headdress that stands out from afar. This model starts at $27,999.
The Chief Vintage: This model comes with a windshield, fringed distressed saddlebags, chrome and polish throughout, and is available in either solid, or two-tone coloring. Classic whitewall tires on 60 spoke chrome wheels help complete this vintage look. Just like the classic, there is also a die-cast color console. The Vintage starts at $35,999.
Starting in October of 2011, these new models will be rolling off the assembly line in Spirit Lake, Iowa. Keep and eye out for a limited number of Special Anniversary Editions available later this year, although details have not been released, they should be available with special badging and colors and perhaps other commemorative items.
