Gold Wing Road Riders Association Weekend at the Opry – August 2014

On Labor Day weekend, August 29-31 2014, the Gold Wing Road Riders Association (GWRRA) will be hosting a brand new National Event in Nashville at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center. Members and non-members are invited to spend a weekend in Nashville at the social event of the year that will include tours of the city, dinners, seminars and many more fun group events.The Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center is not only a hotel, but visitors will also find shopping, restaurants and entertainment under one glass roof. Gold Wing owners can ride into Nashville and never leave the resort, but for those looking to do some sightseeing, the event specialist; “Destination Nashville” will be offering three different tour packages for the weekend:

The General Jackson Showboat Tour:

Enjoy lunch on the showboat while riding down the river and then check out the live show at the two-story Victorian Theater in the center of the boat.

MusicCity’s Narrated Tour of Nashville:

For the music lovers, this tour includes admission to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Ryman Auditorium.

Nashville History Narrated Bus Tour:

Travel on an air-conditioned bus that will make stops at the TennesseeStateMuseum and the Parthenon in CentennialPark (admission included for these stops). Other stops on this tour include the BicentennialCapitalMallState Park.

Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tour:

Visit the Jack Daniel’s distillery and consider a lunch stop at Miss Mary Bobo’s Boarding House and shop in the Lynchburg Town Square.
