Kawasaki Motor Corp just released the changes consumers will see on the new 2013 KX250F and KX450F. Kawasaki continues to show innovation with the upgrades done to both bikes to improve performance.
The KX250F has an all new complete exhaust system. This system will pull the bike higher into the revs with a resonator while boosting power across the board. A rider will also see engine upgrades with the revised digital fuel injection settings, a thicker crank, updated cylinder plating and revised connecting rods. The bike has the same separate function fork design, but a brand new design for 2013.
The KX450F now has a new Kayaba air fork, giving the bike better damping and control with the use of pneumatic technology. The improved damping action is said to be more evident near the bottom of the stroke. Replacing the previous fork also results in a reduction of weight because the main fork spring is gone. Another upgrade includes the availability of several digital fuel injection maps that can be changed without using a personal computer.
Summer is the time of year when Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki start introducing their respective Motocross line-ups for the next year, so stay tuned, as Motorcyclescootersatvsandmore.com will keep you posted.
