The Newest Touring MotorcycleTriumph has decided to join the likes of the BMW R1200RT and K1600GT, the Honda ST1300, the Kawasaki Concourse 1400 and Yamaha’s FJR1300 by entering the motorcycle touring market with the 2013 Triumph Trophy SE.  This new touring motorcycle will be available on showroom floors in January of 2013 and will have a starting MSRP of $18,999.

The Triumph Trophy SE has a 1215cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 6-speed engine and is shaft driven.  The Trophy SE has been designed for excellent wind and weather protection from the adjustable windscreen and cleverly positioned foot pegs and mirrors. Riders of the Trophy SE will also find the luggage system allows for independent movement, increasing stability when the bags are only half full.  Unlike its competitors, saddlebags that are only partially full can create an unstable ride as the contents shift.

This touring motorcycle also comes standard with ABS braking, traction control, cruise control, an electronically adjustable suspension and a tire pressure monitoring system. Riders will also enjoy an excellent audio system with Bluetooth and iPod technology, automatic volume control set to the bike speed and 2 x 20W speakers.

Available in either Lunar Silver or Pacific Blue, along with the option of heated seats (driver & passenger) and heated grips, the Triumph Trophy SE is one touring motorcycle to check out for the 2013 model year.  Triumph is also offering test rides that can be pre-booked on their website, www.triumphmotorcycles.com.
