2012 Yamaha FZ6RThe 2012 Yamaha FZ6R is a middleweight sport bike that has a lot to offer.  With an adjustable seat height, handlebars that can be moved 20mm forward, a narrow body and an instrument panel providing information at a glance; this entry level motorcycle can be adapted to fit a variety of riders.  The 600cc fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine was designed with outstanding torque in the low to mid rpm range for a commute around town or a riding the turns on relaxing weekend.

The Yamaha FZ6R may not have all the bells and whistles as the Yamaha YZF-R6 but unlike the YZF-R6, starting at $10890.00, the FZ6R’s starting price is $7590.00 and becomes a more reasonable choice for a customer looking to get into a 600cc motorcycle at an affordable price.

To make the investment even better, Two Brothers Racing has introduced a 4-2-1 Complete Exhaust System that can increase both the horsepower and the torque for around $1100.00 (of course that’s without installation).  When the stock exhaust is replaced with this system, the FZ6R can have an additional 5.3 horsepower at 9400 rpm and a peak increase of 3.8 horsepower.  At the same time, torque is up 4.2 ft-lbs in the midrange, and at the peak of the torque curve 2.8 ft-lbs is produced. With your choice of exhaust canister in carbon fiber, titanium or aluminum, the system also weighs ten pounds less than the stock steel system.

What all this means is handling, speed, and looks can all be improved, as well as the trade-in or resale value of the motorcycle.  If you have a 2009, 2010 or 2011 FZ6R, the system can also work with your bike, a great way to upgrade your ride this summer at a reasonable price.

You can get more information at an authorized Two Brother Racing retailer or go on-line to www.twobros.com.
